Main Street Dreamers

Living the dream, one Disney moment at a time.

We recently wrote a guide for the best quick service spots in Disney Springs. We will be writing shortly about the best table service restaurants around Disney Springs, with those looking for a different experience. However, we know that not everyone is looking for the same foodie experience. To make things simple, we’ve broken eating at Disney Springs down into three different price points. These range from the budget friendly eats to the fine dining experiences. No matter what experience you’re looking for, you’ll find an incredible meal that will fit your budget.

$ – Budget, Chicken Guy

Price Point: Budget friendly (Around $10- $15 per person)

Summary: Quick, tasty and fun, Chicken Guy is Guy Fieri’s take on crispy chicken tenders and fries. The best part of this restaurant is the 20 different sauces! They are all incredible, but we recommend the Curry mayo and the Bourbon Brown sugar BBQ sauce. It’s a fast, casual place that ensures you get your food quickly and without fuss. Don’t miss out on the Loaded Mac Daddy Mac and cheese, it is so tasty! This is a particularly great place for families, or for anyone that is on the go and doesn’t have an hour to waste on a table service restaurant.

$$ – Mid Range, Raglan Road Irish Pub

Price Point: Mid- range (Around $25 – $40 per person, depending on the drinks you order)

Summary: Raglan Road is the table service version of Cookes of Dublin, which we discussed in our latest blog. This restaurant brings the spirit of Ireland to the forefront of your dining experience, with a full on show while you eat. Note – Not every seat will have a view of the stage, so ensure you request this if it is a non-negotiable for you. Beyond the traditional music and Irish dancing, the food boasts many hearty pub classics. Our personal favourites here are the OMG burger and the Let there be no rush pork, but whatever you order you will not be disappointed! This is not just a meal, it’s an experience. Choose this if you’re in no rush and ready to enjoy an evening of entertainment.

$$$ – Splurge – The Boathouse

Price Point: High end (Usually $40-$60+ per person)

Without a doubt, our favourite Disney World restaurant. Yes the price is higher, but we believe that the quality of food, service and the overall experience make the Boathouse more than worth it. This place is known for its fresh seafood, premium steaks and waterfront views. The Boathouse is one of Disney Springs’ most iconic choices for dinner, and we can tell why. Our personal favourites include the Filet Mignon Sliders, the Mac and Cheese side and the Duck Duck Razz cocktail. However, nothing beats the bread here…. yes really! The free bread here might just be the best bit of the meal. They are classic warm dinner rolls with honey butter, and they are just as delicious as they sound. Overall, this spot is an excellent choice for a special night out, date night or just if you’re looking for a really great meal. No trip to Disney World is complete for us without a meal here.

In conclusion, Disney Springs proves that you don’t need a park ticket to enjoy amazing food at Walt Disney World, and there is truly an option for every budget. Whether you’re sticking to budget friendly bites, settling into a lively pub atmosphere, or wanting a fine dining experience, there’s something here for everyone. We promise you whatever you choose, you will not be dissapointed.
